About the role
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to manage and lead one of our key delivery teams. Aiming to ensure top-notch deliveries to our clients using optimal and streamlined processes and procedures, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to grow the team across multiple global locations, with support from management. The Localisation Channel Manager will be managing a team of 8-9 Content Analysts and Localisation Project Managers and will report to the Content Delivery Director. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing and leading a team providing linguistic services, such as localisation, website translation, MT post editing, online validation to our clients
- Providing leadership and supervising team members on creating project plans and cost estimates as well as on managing budgets
- Assisting the Content Deliver Director on forecasting and analysing revenue trends for key accounts
- Ensuring the team consistently hit their profit targets and use the most commercially-savvy strategies to achieve quality deliveries
- Remaining up-to-date with industry trends and developments and leading implementation of new processes as a result
- Regular one-to-one chats & client-related internal meetings
- Providing steer and final sign off on market- and client strategies
- Liaising with clients to provide them with recommendations and best practises
- Managing team workload and delegating tasks
- Mentoring and training new team members
- Creating development plans and goals to help develop team members’ skills and knowledge
- Give key contributions to pitch work by creating case studies, tailoring presentation decks and presenting these in sales pitches
- Lead decision-making when it comes to internal processes, ensuring our technology remains current
- Holding team meetings to manage expectations, team changes and promote a collaborative environment
