Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Localization Operations Manager (LOM) for a client of ours. The qualified Localization Operations Manager will be a key member of the Marketing Operations and Enablement team, will provide assistance developing and maintaining the client's Central Marketing’s localization program. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous project management skills, a service-centric mindset, and familiarity with enterprise marketing localization practices and technology. The LOM will report to the MOPsE Senior Marketing Manager – Content Operations and will focus primarily in supporting the development and optimization of the Central Marketing’s Localization program and will drive projects to support.
The Marketing Operations and Enablement team is a service-driven organization dedicated to the success of the global marketing teams. The team strives to make better marketing possible – and easy – through innovative technology solutions, well-defined processes, and personal service. The LOM will be focused on upholding the team’s vision, working cross-functionally, and taking initiative to identify new opportunities and propose solutions to bring localized content/assets to market faster and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Help develop Central Marketing’s localization program for all marketing assets/content
 - Define roles and responsibilities across multiple cross-functional teams
 - Develop and optimize process and workflow
 - Identify localization best practices for various types of content
 - Communicate and guide change management through documentation and training
 - Develop and deploy linguistic assets including style guides, glossaries, and terminology
 - Direct up-leveled support requests to vendor’s support team and follow through to resolution
 - Own and complete independent technical projects as assigned
 - Coordinate reporting tasks and program service performance reviews
 - Stay up-to-date on latest solution best practices and related internal processes
 - Develop and maintain strong business partner, and cross-functional relationships
 - Maintain close relationship and alignment with Marketing Operations, Creative Services, Integrated Marketing and IT peers
 
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related area
 - 3-5 years proven success managing enterprise marketing technology tools and concepts, specifically localization tools
 - Experience using SDL and/or Workfront a plus
 - Proven success utilizing metrics and reporting to support teams and drive decisions
 - Experience working with cross-functional teams, global and regional marketing groups and IT
 - Track record of outstanding service to internal clients
 - Ability to think creatively to solve problems, taking initiative when necessary
 - Outstanding program/project management skills
 - Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
 - Meticulous attention to detail
 - Excellent organizational, communication, editing and presentation skills
 - Customer-service oriented, personable, positive attitude, and empathetic
 - Experience with enterprise marketing technology and concepts
